1-allowing civil marriage in Lebanon is a major step toward reinforcing the dialogue across religions, building one common Lebanese identity and a successful Melting-pot.
2-civil marriage is a right for non-religious people who wish no to marry in any of the religious institutions. Freedom of Belief, Decree and thought are essential according to the Universal Declaration of Human rights, articles 18, 19 and 20.
3-Lebanese women married to foreign guys should be able to pass the Lebanese nationality to their kids.
4-every Lebanese couple should have the right to get married in Lebanon, regardless of their race, religion, or beliefs.

YES to civil marriage:
i will resume it in ONE basic reason:
when 2 people love each other, they don't need a paper or a ceremony to celebrate it or to make it official..it is just between them...
but marriage is a outer package to the world outside..so why not civil marriage as long as they want to be with each other forever
I think civil marriage should be allowed in Lebanon so that people from different sects could get married. they are already doing so by going to Cyprus and getting married there...so it's stupid not to have that here in Lebanon...I don't understand what harm it does if it existed.
